Today’s blog is for the letter ‘H’ and what could be better than home?
I particularly like the forested drive that leads to and from our little cabin. It has a bit of mystery to it, as though it might be leading to a fairy tale cottage.
It definitely makes for a calming transition between the rush of traffic and the serenity of our little haven.

I love that picture too. It’s gorgeous. Kind of mysterious.
Gorgeous photo! Pictures of lanes, paths, driveways are favorites of mine anyway, and this just photo just beckons you down that drive…!
Oh ya, it’s all about the ambiance isn’t it? Your entrance to the cabin has all that and I agree, it certainly sets the mood for the beginning of a tranquil getaway!
Long driveway, short post. Just about perfect for the day.
It is a transition area …or is that decompression area? Looks like a painting. Nice
Hi,
What a great idea for the letter h, and I love your photo. š
That photo is gorgeous! What a lovely place!
What a wonderful scene to retreat to.
You are definitely heading into a fairytale going down that path. How lovely!
Love roads like that. Hubby and I traveled so many in W.Va. back when we were dating. They aren’t the best in winter, though!
Click your heels three times and say, “There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home.” š That’s how I always feel at the end of a vacation.
looks so peaceful!

That is just…wow. It surely must feel magical going up and down that road, with the happy surety of home being there at the end of it.
Can I visit you if I ever end up nearby? š
It looks like a path to adventure… š
It’s beautiful! Hard to believe it’s close to the hustle and bustle of life, right? You definitely have a little piece of paradise. I think you should have a lovely writer’s retreat there. *hint* š
There’s a quote that says that “home” (whatever that represents, my interpretation) is the great object of life. Looks like you have a great place to retreat to! ~ Sheila
