One perk of blogging is getting acquainted with other bloggers. I have found several sites that speak to where I am currently, or where I am headed. They share wisdom and insight and sometimes great recipes!
MJ’s dessert bars is one example.
With three simple ingredients:
1 bag Heath or Skor bar pieces
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 sleeves of Ritz crackers, crumbled
Mix together and pour into a well-greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares.
There was an optional addition for 1/4 cup chopped nuts, but she didn’t recommend it and I didn’t add them to mine.
Three ingredients are simple to find and remember. So, yesterday, as I was planning dinner for my family and sons’ friends, I decided to try MJ’s recipe. All I can say – what a hit!
Thanks a million for a great idea and a simple recipe. And although I have linked her original post, you can visit all of her wise words @ http://emjayandthem.wordpress.com.

Whee! Glad you and your family liked these :). I can’t remember where I first got the recipe but I think it was from a local news website.. Regardless, yes, super easy and super yummy = the best kind of recipes in my “book.”
Cheers! MJ
I thought you might like to know that I tried it, liked it, and it was just as you said – simple and delicious!
Yes – thank you! Neat to know you tried it, even better to know you liked them 🙂 MJ
